What can you offer as a reward to your most valued staff?
Are the cars shown on the website the cars I'll be driving? Not neccessarily. All the cars you see are Select Specialist Rental vehicles but if for any reason we cannot supply the exact model, then an equivalent vehicle will be offered.
How old do I have to be to hire a vehicle?
Driver age has to be between 25-70 for our cars. Drivers between 25 and 30 will be assessed on an individual basis.
Do I need a clean Drivers License to hire a vehicle?
A maximum of two minor traffic offenses or one minor claim is permitted. However, our Insurance company will not allow any drink/drugs or dangerous driving offenses.
How and when do I pay?
You will be asked to pay a 15% non refundable booking Fee immediately to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will be due 7-14 days before the hire/delivery date.
How much security deposit do I have to pay?
We require a security deposit between £1,500 and £5,000 for all vehicle hires in cash or by Credit Card. The exact deposit is dependent on vehicle type please see our tariff page for amount required.
Your deposit may be used as:
• A security payment.
• Payment towards mechanical damage, which is not covered by normal insurance, sustained during the hire period, due to misuse. This excludes normal wear and tear.
• Insurance excess for any accidental damage or loss caused to the vehicle, other vehicles or injuries suffered, by a third party or the hirer.
• Additional charges incurred during hire for excess mileage and/or petrol reimbursement charges.
The security deposit is refunded on safe return of the vehicle.
Can my partner drive the car?
Yes. But the second driver can only drive the car with our and the Insurers prior permission, and there is a small charge for this.
How does the Insurance work?
When you hire one of our supercars you are responsible for the safe return of the vehicle. All vehicles are comprehensively insured subject to specific excesses. To find out more please contact us.
What happens if I get flashed by a speed camera?
Speeding fines or any other similar endorsement will be forwarded onto you when they are received by Select Rentals.
Will the car have a full tank of fuel?
Yes. We also ask when you return the car to us that it is be returned with a full tank of fuel.
Can I take the car overseas?
Yes. Our cars may be taken to most European countries. However, you must let us know prior to taking the car overseas as overseas insurance and AA Cover can be arranged. This may incur an additional charge. Please contact us and we'll be happy to let you know.
Can I have the car delivered and collected?
We can deliver and/or collect the cars to you. There will be an additional charge for this, please contact us for further information.
